Coffee Break

I had my weekly latte and it wasn't as good as I thought it was good to be. I should had known better than this shit in a bottle isn't as good as going to a corporate store. At any rate it made me realize that I don't need it like I thought so. It's been almost a month now and here are the changes I've seen since changing some things in my life.

1. I'm sleeping much better.
2. Since I'm not waking up in the middle of the night I'm not snacking like I was. 
3. I have more energy. 

That's plenty reason to continue! 

Today though I'm feeling a little sick and my rib hurts a bit. I've been getting better but it really is just pissing me off today.

Tanning Raises Calves

Tonight I decided to use the stand up tanning bed and like always I get so bored in them. What do you do when you are just standing there? What else but calf raises! I've not done them in a long, long time and damn my calves were screaming. It didn't hit me to do them until several minutes into my 9 minutes session. I did 140 calf raises. 


Broke Down but Got Up

Yesterday was just a bad day and I didn't follow my meal plan but indidntbeat anything I wasn't supposed to. I just only ate twice plus had one protein shake and my amino energy drink. I finally decided I have to rest and so I took today off and got a sub for class the next two days! But I'm still going to be there, I'll just sit my ass in the chair and happily watch!

Cooking SuX


I hate cooking! This is the main reason I ate out a lot and didn't make healthy eating choices. I'm not good and it and I could be doing something else! But tonight starts week 3 of my fast food breakup and is still sucking! I'm doing well and eating exactly what I'm told. No cheat foods yet until my doctor releases me back to exercise. 
This is my food prep night and I think I did damn good! 
In my Ninja, I made enough protein shakes for about 6 servings! This time with vanilla protein powder and blueberries and instead of water, I used unsweetened Almond milk. 

While I was doing that, I managed to continue to cook 3 chicken breasts, 4 ground sirloin burgers with Mrs. Dash on them, 2 boil in the bags of brown rice and steamed broccoli enough for 4 meals but oops I was hungry and ate a cup of it! I have enough food for several days to simply heat up now in addition to tilapia that I'll cook. 

This now IS my fast food! I will get used to food prepping a few times a week but I'm already feeling much better now that I exit out Wendy's, hohos and cookies. I'm also sleeping better! 
Now I just need to get my rib at 100% so I can start exercising! Eye on the prize! 




Feeling Friki

My rib hurts really bad so I decided to treat myself with my one latte that I'm allowed to have weekly right now. But this wasn't just any latte, it was a Friki Tiki type of latte. I mean seriously, who wouldn't feel better instantly drinking their latte with an umbrella straw??!!

 
Yesterday I bought Vanilla Creme Rule 1 protein. I had been given a sample and holy shit it tastes like birthday cake! I'm planning on throwing in some blueberries and other fruits in the future! Should be yummy.


Doctor Update: Either I take a break from class for a solid week and rest or I'm going to prolong my healing. I know what I should do but it's a very difficult decision for me right now and still pondering what my plan of attack will be. I'm still quite sore and can barely lift my purse. Right now I'm just working, teaching Zumba and allowed to go to the pool but no swimming.

Vomit Shake

Wtf have I done!!!!! All I did was add fresh strawberries to my chocolate protein powder and water and it tastes like I'm drinking vomit! I blended it in my Ninja and apparently it required more blending because it went down the sink at work this morning! You know when you vomit after eating you have chunks of stuff in your mouth and you can't get a toothbrush fast enough? Well that is exactly how it rated and felt! It was terrible!!!!! 

Last night I almost went and got Wendy's for dinner. I had my shoes on and went for my jacket and then kicked myself in the ass. I ended up making fish and green beans instead of going to Wendy's:) 

Riblet is getting better although I practiced some new Zumba stuff and today I'm sore. I also am coming down with a damn cold of some sort . 

This has been so difficult not to eat Wendy's, cookies or even have a can of Pepsi!

Monkeying Around

Today was a food flop! It started out with putting a banana into my chocolate protein shake this a.m. Which I'll say isn't all that great. Then left the house without my chicken. So here I am left to eat sweet potatoes, almonds and the rest of my shitty protein shake. 
Pain level on my riblet is much better today although it still hurts pretty bad. But thankfully it's not worse from my swim. 

I'm not sure I can drink the rest but I'll surely try! Oh I love these blender bottles so much that I ordered another two online today!
